Contact Shaun Barnard for details (954) 305-0778 or Shaun@SovYachts.com Boston Whaler 21 Conquest 1998 Repowered 2013 200hp Four Stroke Yamaha with 184 Hours This boat is in a great condition and very well looked after, the boat has always been stored indoors. Great for fishing and pleasure cruising with ample storage in the cabin and on deck, it has a bimini, a cuddy cabin with head (replaced in 2013) . Repowered in 2013 with a 200 hp Yamaha plus a spare SS prop. Full 100h service, oil and fuel filters replaced in November 2020, antena and both batteries replaced in September 2021. This boat comes with a bow "fortress" anchor with immense holding power as well as a stern anchor for extra stability. All original owner's manuals included, trailer not included. The Conquest with its 4 stroke Yamaha cruises at 30 mph and 4200 RPM effortlessly, say with three or four aboard, plus coolers and gear, and using 7 to 8 gallons per hour of fuel. With a 92 gallon fuel tank, it has an impressive range The cockpit area is large and secure, seating six comfortably. Therefore, small children and pets can ride, securely contained, in the cabin under circumstances that require the helmsman to pay his full attention to running the boat. If you have kids, you'll appreciate this, sudden afternoon thunderstorms are a frequent occurrence and the spacious cabin makes an instant warm-and-dry refuge for the kids and anyone else who likes to avoid the rain. This 21 foot boat is small enough, fast enough, and economical enough to use for water skiing and tubing. At anchor, the transom on the port side opens to permit swimmers to exit and reenter via the boarding ladder without stepping up or down. This was a nice piece of design work by Whaler. Of course the kids will want to jump off the gunwales and swim to the boarding ladder, climb aboard, then do it again and again. The Conquest, by design, rides bow high, for safety in rough weather and under difficult conditions. It's hull is designed to allow water to roll off the bow and sides of the cabin, any water that makes it into the self-bailing cockpit exits quickly overboard, backed up by an automatic bilge pump. The boat is equipped with trim tabs, an optional extra, which are nice when you have to deal with the boat being loaded heavily to one side. The Boston Whaler 21 Conquest features high - low jump seats with 58 inches of headroom. At the 21-foot cuddy cabin's spacious helm, a large, lockable electronics box features a removable door for complete visibility of instrumentation while underway. The helm and companion seats are cushioned, adjustable and furnished with footrests. Backing them up are aft-facing seats with lockable storage - the portside section can be plumbed for an optional livewell. The port rear quarter seat back hinges forward to function as a transom gate for easy access from the dock or via the standard telescoping stainless steel ladder at the swim platform. In 1996, Boston Whaler introduced the Accutrack hull. This system combines the smooth ride of a deep-V design with the dry ride provided by strategically placed chines. A Boston Whaler has a distinct style. The distinctive Whaler 'smirk' - a reverse chine and forward spray rail - catches spray and redirects it beneath the hull. In the following sea, it pushes the bow up for better steerage and improved safety. Thoughtful layouts put amenities such as prep stations and controls within easy reach. Seats can handle hundreds of pounds in static loads. Coaming pads are scaled to catch people above the knees. Helms have unobstructed views. And fishing areas provide optimum freedom of movement.
